In a remarkable development for food safety in Africa, the FS4Africa<\/strong> EU project formalised a critical partnership with three local governments in Ibadan, Oyo State<\/strong>. The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)<\/strong> at the prestigious International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA)<\/strong><\/a> marked a new era of collaboration, bringing together key stakeholders to address pressing food safety challenges in the region.<\/p>\n

The ceremony was graced by Dr. Kenton Dashiell<\/strong>, Deputy Director General, Partnerships for Delivery at IITA, Honorable Akinwole Akinleye<\/strong>, Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, and Honorable Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode<\/strong>, Chairman of Ibadan South-East Local Government. Their presence underscored the significance of aligning international expertise with local leadership to create impactful, sustainable solutions for food safety issues that affect public health and economic stability. Dr. Titilayo Falade<\/strong>, FS4Africa Project Coordinator, Mrs. Olumodupe Banwo<\/strong>, FS4Africa Project Manager, and other key stakeholders also attended the event.<\/p>\n
