The event objective is to explore future strategies for fostering a more integrated food ecosystem and accelerate discussions on the needed programmatic actions to foster progress towards a more transparent, nutritious, and health sensitive food ecosystem. Panel 1 focuses on key top-level patterns for attaining food security, with particular attention on three megatrends affecting agrifood systems, including demographic changes, geopolitical instability, and emerging frontier technologies and innovations. Panel 2 then discusses the paradigmatic agenda of delivering sustainable and healthy diets for all, specifically addressing how digital and data innovations could facilitate evidence-based actions and the establishment of food-water-land-energy nexus.
