Under the theme \u201c<em>Linking Evidence, Policy, and Action<\/em>,\u201d the <strong>online forum<\/strong> convened policymakers, researchers, development partners, private sector actors, and civil society organizations to address the continent&#8217;s food and nutrition security challenges. Discussions centered on strengthening evidence-based policymaking and fostering regional collaboration to drive sustainable, inclusive food systems. Key thematic highlights included digital innovation, climate adaptation, nutrition, food safety, continental trade, agricultural financing, and youth and gender inclusion.<\/p><h4><strong>Innovation Spotlight 2: Food Safety Systems &amp; Data Platforms<\/strong><\/h4><p>Cilj <strong>FS4Africa<\/strong> project on May 21<sup>st<\/sup>, 2026, took center stage during <strong>Day 2 <\/strong>of the event. This segment of the forum focused on <em>&#8220;Nutrition, Food Safety, Value Addition &amp; Sustainable Food Systems Transformation,&#8221;<\/em> where the FS4Africa team led the <strong>&#8220;Innovation Spotlight 2: Food Safety Systems &amp; Data Platforms&#8221;<\/strong> session.
