On 18-19 February, FS4Africa’s Use Cases 1 and 2 convened a dynamic planning workshop with the technical staff of local governments in Ibadan, Nigeria, organised by the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA).
The goal? To co-design 2025 activities that engage informal sector players—the essential yet often underserved actors in local food systems. Through interactive sessions, participants shared insights, identified challenges, and shaped strategies to promote safer practices while strengthening food value chains. This collaborative effort reflects FS4Africa’s commitment to locally led solutions that are sustainable, inclusive, and tailored to community needs.
